| Hofer Tennis Group TRIP TO SAP OPEN San Jose Men's ATP Tennis Tour February 18, 2008 |
| 30 tennis enthusiasts departed Monday morning for San Jose to watch 1st round matches at the SAP Open. We watched #8 seed Kristof Vliegan beat Victor Hanescu followed by Bobby Reynolds victory over Qualifier Benedikt Dorsch. Next we saw smooth playing #4 seed Radek Stepanek dismantle Paul Capdeville followed by a 3 set match where Guillermo Garica-Lopez took out the #6 seed Jurgen Melzer. We left for home at 6 pm while Jesse Levine was playing Steve Darcis. It was an exciting day of tennis as several members of our group recieved a compliementary upgrade by Jet Blue Airlines. They got to sit in airline seats on court level in the first row. I want to thank everyone who went to make this a very special day for me and Hofer Tennis. -Doug Hofer |
